Database Assessment

During my 1st year at Cardiff University, I was tasked the with the design and implementation of a database ensuring it was industry standard. This was important as it built on the what I had learned when creating my first-program and enhanced my database knowledge. I used many techniques new to me such as Use-Case Context Diagrams, Use-Case Slicing through SPIDR and many more. This reinforced the importance of in-depth planning to me and how much easier your life can be as a developer if you get the planning right.
