Full Stack Chat App

To become a modern software developer I wanted to ensure I understood modern web frameworks. This is why I decided to create this project to be able to apply my knowedge of React and Node.js. It was tricky to begin with but after some research it came to me quite naturally. I struggled with understanding how to create an initial project structure but after some research it was done. After the initial struggles it was developed like any other full stack project. I am proud of this project as it is a good example of my ability to learn new technologies and apply them to a project. Additionally, I was able to incorporate a new database technology, MongoDB, into this project. This was exciting as it broadened my ability to create a secure cloud based database which is more realistic to real world applications.
